Knox County native, lives in Vincennes with his wife and five children.

Civic involvements include service to the Board of Commissioners for the Knox County Housing Authority and the Knox County Public Defender Board, where he helped to implement flat-rate contract system that saved more than $500,000 per year.

As Knox County Clerk, led the creation of new storage system to make 500,000 pounds of county records more accessible and safer, also freeing up more than 10,000 square feet of space for other uses.

During 2020 election, implemented innovative ideas to create safe spaces for voting during the pandemic, including moving early voting outside.

Gained bi-partisan support to move Knox County to a Vote Center system in 2021.

Testified often to the State Election Committee, sharing ideas that were translated into state law, including an extension of the period a candidate may withdraw from a Primary Election and establishing electioneering laws for early voting locations.
